We ship both locally within South Africa and internationally to approximately 50 countries.

Delivery Times

• South Africa: Orders typically arrive within 7 days from shipment.

• International: Orders typically arrive within 14 days from shipment.

• Pre-orders: Books usually ship 8–14 weeks after pre-orders close, as announced on product pages.

Taxes & Customs Fees

• Customers may choose to prepay VAT/duties at checkout (where available) or pay upon arrival.

• Customers who choose not to prepay are responsible for taxes and customs fees in their country.

• The Book Cove is not responsible for packages returned due to unpaid customs charges.

International Shipping Limitations

• If your country is not listed, contact help@thebookcove.com.

• Customers may use forwarding services (e.g. Shop and Ship), but The Book Cove is not affiliated with such services and cannot take responsibility for damage or loss beyond the South African delivery point.

Damaged Shipments

• If your order arrives damaged, contact us within 7 days at help@thebookcove.com. We will assist by opening a claim with the shipping company.

Lost Shipments

• If tracking shows no updates and delivery has not occurred after 30 days, please contact us. All shipments are insured. Losses caused by incorrect addresses are the customer’s responsibility.
